O'Ferrall Management Group DBA McDonald's is Hiring a Director of Operations Near Jackson, MS

At McDonald's we are making significant changes to elevate the brand and drive positive results well into the future. We are currently looking for highly motivated individuals with the knowledge and experience to drive results within a growing organization. The Director of Operations would be responsible for driving outstanding operations by working directly with the patch Supervisors of those restaurants. Below, please find additional core responsibilities and required skills/experience.

Core responsibilities:

  • Enforcing McDonald's operational and system standards within all restaurants
  • Fostering a culture of fun, generous individuals that work hard both individually and as a team.
  • Driving recruitment and retention of quality talent from both outside and within the organization
  • Developing internal succession plans and a deep bench of management at all levels of store operations by identifying and fostering the development of talent.
  • Driving continuous improvement of performance in all established key indicators and metrics with an approach that is equally balanced between financial, human resource, and customer experience metrics.
  • Meeting/exceeding annual P&L objectives by demonstrating achievement of both top-line sales and cost management targets.
  • Driving sales growth and repeat business through community marketing, new product launches and flawless execution of organizational initiatives.
  • Motivating, training, and inspiring all management teams to deliver exceptional QSC (quality, service, cleanliness)
  • Development of professional store management through active demonstration and enforcement of proper documented organizational practices including: goal setting, adherence to checklists, identification of work to be done, organization of work through planning and maintenance of an active calendar.
  • Professional and productive collaboration between colleagues and staff within the organization
  • Fostering and growing strong community ties within each restaurant neighborhood by leading store managers to develop strong brand ambassadors

Required skills and experience: Proven track record of driving and achieving measurable results Strong communication skills that engage people in a genuine, authentic way--proactively connects to a team to drive positive behavior and results Highly organized, able to multi-task, easily adapts and responds to change

  • Disciplined approach to priority setting with the ability to identify the root cause of operation and people opportunities, and an ability to move quickly to improve performance
  • Demonstrates an ability to manage applicable restaurant regulatory areas, including: employee safety, immigration, non-discrimination, worker's comp, and food safety laws
  • 5 years of prior quick-service restaurant experience with 2 years of multi-unit management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Able to understand and manage POS network and hardware systems, able to troubleshoot issues thereof
  • Personal characteristics reflective of McDonald's core values. A proven history of personal integrity, high-energy, hard-working, self-motivated, positive attitude, customer-obsessed, generous yet firm with others
